Official Vista Service Pack 2 to be release in 2009
Microsoft began sending pre-beta version of Windows Vista Service Pack 2 to a small-scale group of selected testers. We'd talked about the new features of Vista SP2. If you run Vista, and you’re not in the list, just want to stay updated. Here’s is little trick to get the Vista SP2 via Windows Update that requires modifying 2 registry keys on your system to allow you participate in the Vista SP2 Beta computer program.

Think carefully whether you want to do this or not. - Windows Vista SP2 enables the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones.
Windows Vista SP2 is expected to be released in final form sometime in the first half of 2009. Judging by the expiration date of Vista SP2 Beta I’d say that sounds about right.
